Terms of Service

Welcome to MMOBASE. By accessing or using our website at mmobase.co.uk, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.

1. What MMOBASE Is

MMOBASE is a third-party dashboard tool for EVE Online players that displays character statistics, assets, wallet, market data, and other in-game information pulled from EVE Online's official ESI (EVE Swagger Interface) API. MMOBASE is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CCP Games or EVE Online. All EVE Online related materials, images, and data are property of CCP Games.

2. Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an MMOBASE account using your email and a password, and optionally link your EVE Online character via CCP's official SSO (Single Sign-On) service.

• You are responsible for keeping your account details secure
• You must provide accurate information when signing up
• You must be at least 13 years old to use MMOBASE
• You may not share your account with others
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use MMOBASE only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use MMOBASE to harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its data
• Scrape, bot, or otherwise automate interactions with the site beyond normal use
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use the service to violate EVE Online's Terms of Service or CCP's ESI usage policies
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the security of the service

4. EVE Online Data

When you connect your EVE Online character, MMOBASE accesses data through CCP's official ESI API using the scopes you authorise. We display this data back to you within the dashboard. You retain ownership of your character and all in-game assets — MMOBASE is a read-only tool and cannot modify anything in EVE Online.

5. Service Availability

MMOBASE is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be available 24/7, free from errors, or that the data displayed will always be accurate or up to date. EVE's ESI API may experience downtime, rate limits, or changes that affect what MMOBASE can show. We do our best to keep things running smoothly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

6. Changes to the Service

MMOBASE is actively being developed. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time without notice. We'll do our best to communicate major changes via our Discord community and on the site.

7. Limitation of Liability

MMOBASE and its creator are not liable for any losses, damages, or issues arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to in-game losses (ISK, ships, assets), account issues, or data inaccuracies. Use MMOBASE at your own risk.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to MMOBASE at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these terms. You may also delete your MMOBASE account at any time by contacting us.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of MMOBASE after changes means you accept the new terms.
